What is Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines Coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often helps individuals to tap into their inner resources and strengths and to develop their agency and capacity to create the change they want.
Coaching is a process that will help you get clear about what it is you want to achieve and help you to get there in a much shorter time. The coach partners you to co-create a process that helps you come to your own best answers for yourself and help you develop and grow to achieve what you want to achieve.
These could include working through “stuck” places or challenges and obstacles that keep one from living to one’s fullest potential or support through career and life transitions or to achieve greater career and life satisfaction.
Career Development and Life Design
Career and Life Design Coaching is a forward-looking, reflective process that helps individuals intentionally shape their work and lives in alignment with their values, strengths, and evolving sense of purpose. It also supports people in exploring possibilities, reframe limiting assumptions and cultivates agency and adaptability, enabling individuals to make meaningful decisions, navigate transitions, and integrate personal fulfilment with professional direction.
The benefits include greater clarity and confidence, a stronger sense of coherence between life domains, and the capacity to shape one’s path in response to changing circumstances and aspirations.
Leadership Development and Coaching
Leadership Development Coaching is a reflective partnership that supports leaders in expanding how they think, relate, and act in complex organisational environments. Besides focusing on skills and performance, it also works at deeper levels of mindset, identity, how leaders think and their sense-making. We take an inner, integrative and systemic approach to help leaders to become more self-aware, other-aware and system-aware in their intentions, actions, influence and impact to become more adaptive to navigate uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity, hold multiple perspectives, and align actions with purpose and values.

Team Development and Coaching
Team Coaching is much more complex than individual coaching. This is because we not only have to deal with the one-to-one relationship, the organisational dynamic, plus the dynamics between the individuals.
The ICF defines Team Coaching as partnering in a co-creative and reflective process with a team and its dynamics and relationships in a way that inspires them to maximise their abilities and potential in order to reach their common purpose and shared goals. Team Coaching is an experience that allows a Team to work towards sustainable results and ongoing development. It is becoming an increasingly important intervention in corporate environments as high team performance requires aligning toward goals, remaining innovative, and adapting quickly to internal and external changes.
Team Coaching alongside Team Building, Team Training, Team Consulting, Team Mentoring and Team Facilitation are different interventions for Team Development. Each of these can be used separately or in combination to achieve various Team Development Goals for Growth and Performance and Value-Creation.
If teams only get on really well and they can understand where they are going, that is not enough if they fail to engage their stakeholders or fail to understand who they are there to serve, they will not be able to have the success they need.
In Team Coaching, we look at the team relationships, their purpose or objectives, what the team is there to do, who they are there to serve (their stakeholders and partners), and how they manage those relationships to co-create value with their stakeholders and partners to achieve their team purpose and organisational goals.
